Paseo por el tiempo...

 

In the Gothic neighbourhood of Barcelona there is one of the places I miss more because it brings amazing memories to me,  La Plaça Sant Felip Neri, which used to be the site of a cemetery in the Middle Ages. There's a Baroque church, built in 1752, which has a rather unfortunate history: during the Spanish Civil War, a bomb fell on it, killing 20 children who seeked shelter inside; the results of the bombing can still be seen in the walls.

In 1985 it used to be one of the most romantic place for me...and more than 20 years later it still is.
